German Chancellor and ADNOC CEO inaugurated the first CNG Filling Station in Abu Dhabi, built by Robt Stone. Robt Stone is proud to announce the successful completion of a “first of its kind” Project in the Region.
Robt Stone just completed a project converting 17 nos of Petrol Station into CNG filling Station in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Sharjah.
This prestigious project is managed by GASCO on behalf of ADNOC.
Robt Stone was selected as an EPC Contractor for one of the Package out of total 3 Packages. Robt Stone also played a key role as Subcontractor for Construction Scope in other two packages.
Robt Stone role included very challenging tasks such as Hot Tapping on live High Pressure Gas Pipelines, Installation of Pressure Reduction and Metering Facilities, Installation of High Pressure Gas Pipelines through major highways, modification of existing fuel stations into CNG stations, heavy in-situ foundations for CNG Compressor Buildings, New image Canopies and Branding Works for the CNG Stations, also including Control rooms and Substations. As this project scope is all about working on the high traffic areas and carrying out modifications to busy fuels stations across the Country, it involved extensive coordination with many government departments, utility owners, end users, consultants, third party contractors, nominated suppliers and subcontractors etc.
Robt Stone delivered all these Projects on Schedule meeting the stringent specifications and HSE requirements most importantly there were no lost time incident or accident.
